PAINTING
THE ENVELOPE is the most long- lasting method, and is
reserved for lengthy contracts. Almost the entire envelope can be painted with a
corporate logo and colors, providing unparalleled exposure and impact.Skyships are an impressive 194 feet long, 67 feet high, 63 feet wide and hold 235,400 cubic feet of helium (a non-flammable lifting gas). To illustrate its size, a Skyship is over 2/3 the length of a football field and taller (and almost as long) as a 747 jumbo jet!
There are three methods with which to display your message or logo -- painting
the envelope, utilizing banners, and decal
application.
PAINTING

BANNERS can also be manufactured and hung from both sides of the Skyship. The panel dimensions measure 100 feet long and 40 feet high. Banners offer some degree of flexibility, as they may be removed and/or changed in a hangar facility.
DECALS
-- Airship Operations also offers a unique and flexible method of displaying
your message -- decals. Decals are the perfect answer for clients that are
unable to commit to a long term contract, or desire the flexibility to change
graphics during the course of the contract. New product introductions or
regional promotions might be served with these light weight decals.
With all three design methods above, the gondola of the airship can be decaled to complete the overall presentation. In addition, the road train vehicles and crew uniforms reflect the client's colors and logo.
Traveling
with each Skyship is a highly trained team of twenty five professionals,
including Airship Pilots, Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics, Computer
Technicians and Crewman, who maintain the flight schedule and coordinate all
flight activities. A public relations professional, to initiate media coverage
and television broadcasts, is also available.
At the crew's disposal is a fleet of specially equipped ground support
vehicles which are used in the operation and maintenance of each airship. All
the ground support vehicles are painted to match the design of the airship, so
there is the added advertising benefit as the caravan travels from city to city.
Your logo and message will be seen in the air AND on the ground.
Our company retains the services of some of the world's leading aerial camera operators and equipment. These gyro stabilized camera systems can be mounted either through the floor of the Skyship or extended out the side. (Both methods have FAA certification). The stable environment of this "eye-in the-sky" is utilized extensively by television, radio and print; to help report events on the ground as well as, file reports on the airship itself.
Skyships have provided television coverage of some of the world's preeminent sporting events, including the Olympics, SuperBowl, World Series, the Daytona 500 and PGA Tournaments, to name a few.
No other advertising or public relations medium can provide such an
everlasting effect. Airship marketing is an intrusive yet friendly way to break
through the clutter of conventional forms of advertising. The uniqueness of a
blimp speaks for itself, for once you see a blimp, you will never forget it!
